Ticket Handling Process
These standards have been approved by the ArchStudio Community Consensus Process.
Any changes must be proposed on the archstudio-dev mailing list.
Any changes must be proposed on the archstudio-dev mailing list.
Strenuous effort should be made to close all tickets within 30 days of their opening. Within this time, the ticket should be closed or assigned a definite closure date or release version.
- Bug fixes for defects should be handled as fast as possible and closed.
- Requests for enhancement should get a target release, or moved onto a "wish list" page on the Wiki for future consideration
Discussions of any particular ticket should occur on the ticket itself, using Trac's e-mail auto-notify feature to asynchronously notify interested parties. However, new tickets should generally be announced on the archstudio-dev list to make everyone aware of them so interested parties can add their names to the ticket.
