ArchStudio User Interface Standards
- User interfaces should follow typical platform conventions and be professional, which means they should be
more-or-less indistinguishable from other professional-quality applications and Eclipse plug-ins.
- The Eclipse user interface guidelines can be found here
- Novel UI mechanisms and metaphors are OK as long as they are useful, intuitive, and documented.
- Consistent iconography is useful to maintain the overall look-and-feel of ArchStudio, see the branding standards for more information.
Goals for ArchStudio 5 include:
- Basic UI functionality such as copy/paste, undo/redo, multiple select, etc. need to be supported.
